say "shh" when you see a baby sleeping

And this little man is already 13 months old!

smile with your entire face

say "oo oo"

say "boo" when I pull your shirt down over your head

try very hard to keep up with your big brother

make a big mess when you eat

stand on your own just fine until you notice and then you grab something quickly

have an indentation in your sternum

still take two naps when your brother lets you

no longer use a pacifier

still chew on anything you can get in your mouth

like splashing in the bathtub

Balloons!

Since Garrett works in the afternoon (3pm - 11pm), we get to spend the mornings with him. This morning, while I was working on massive amounts of laundry, Garrett took the boys outside to play with water balloons that Eli got for his birthday!

Josiah kept trying to pop the balloons and was still surprised when water came out!

A Day at the Park

Josiah and I went grocery shopping and then we went to the park! I think we both had tons of fun! When I was young, we always called it the Castle Park. The playground is like a big wooden castle! So many places to hide!

Garrett gave him this hat before we left and he didn't want to take it off! He wore it all through Walmart!

A Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Mullet

Garrett's grandparents came to visit for 2 weeks on their trip home to Montana. What a pleasure it was to have them here! They adored the boys and the boys adored them! Josiah had fun playing with Grandpa's cane and Eli was always ready with his smile! We enjoyed Wii bowling each night and we all got pretty good! Grandma and Grandpa even washed the dishes after every meal! 

At the end of their visit, Lloyd and Karen came to visit for the weekend as well. Josiah made a new friend with Karen! He loved playing and laughing with her! I wish I had video of them laughing back and forth and each other! We ended their trip with a visit to the Creation Museum on Sunday. It was a wonderful two weeks with them and we were sad to see them go! We hope we can visit sometime soon!
